THE SCHOOL OF WISDOM STORY
A legacy that
keeps reaching.
Knowing Christ. Raising disciples. Taking the Gospel to the nations.
Rooted in a
Gospel vision.
School of Wisdom is a Christian teaching and ministry-equipping programme associated with Archbishop Benson Andrew Idahosa, the founding father of Church of God Mission International.
His vision was to teach the Gospel of Christ and raise disciples who would boldly carry it to all nations. The programme calls believers to be deeply rooted in Christ and active participants in sharing His love and redemption.
Bishop Wale Ajayi continued this legacy in the modern series in 2017. That year marks the beginning of the present series, rather than the origin of the earlier Idahosa-era programme.
SOW welcomes believers generally, alongside pastors, church workers and people involved in evangelism. Its purpose is ministry equipping; no accredited academic qualification is represented.

A historic home.
A living mission.
The Historic Miracle Centre has its own history, separate from SOW’s annual editions. The church’s account dates its foundation to 1 December 1973 and dedication to 9 November 1975.
The 1975–2025 golden jubilee celebrated the church’s history. It did not represent the 50th consecutive School of Wisdom conference.
